There are plenty stories about the downsides of church so this article was more of an encouragement of the benefits of church for people thinking about attending, those questioning why they do attend, and for further confidence for those that attend regularly.

I was also personally encouraged by Nir Eyal’s positive psychological explanation of the benefits of church, and wanted to share that joy.
